Spring blooms each year and
everywhere. The cascading streams, the
twittering birds, the colourful and fragrant
flowers, the budding potential fruits bring
a momentous change. It stands for
rejuvenation and rebirth. The refreshing
season induces even the hibernating
species to wake up. And to celebrate the
refreshing atmosphere spring festivals are
held across the length and breadth of the
globe with pomp and splendor. It may be
Songkan in Thailand, Sechseläuten in
Switzerland, Cherry Bloosom Festival in
Japan, Tulip Time in the US, Fallas in
Spain, Mexican Carnival or Holi in India
all signify rejuvination. Literature is ever
refreshing as it is all about new creation
and birth, and hence the gaiety and pomp
is an indispensible part of it. Even the
creators and readers enjoy the pain and
pangs of life enumerated in different
genres of literature.
